This photo is Tyler Babbitt #11 go kart. He is an 8th grader at Central Jr. High. He won the kids division A Feature and pocketed $100 for that win. Tyler started racing last fall. The races are held every saturday night starting at 5 p.m. at Civil War Arena in Carthage, MO. His Grandpa, Bobby Mills of Lost 40 Salvage in Carl Junction, is his sponsor and mentor. His grandpa used to race stock cars and is very proud that Tyler is following in his footsteps. Tyler's dad, Eric Babbitt, is the "pit chief". Ethan Martin and Diggs Overman, classmates of Tyler's, have gone to nearly every race with him and they are an important part of the pit crew. :)
