Our attendance for Thursday, August 20 was 28. We were happy to have Linda Johnston as a new visitor and hope she comes again.

Much appreciation to Daylight Donut Shop who provided refreshments for the dance.  We really appreciate your donation! Thank you to Pat Johnston who donated a hand made dish cloth and Josephine Frazier who brought candy. Mt. Carmel donated the following items: stress heart, heart jar opener, pill boxes, and can holders. Birthday cards were signed for Roy Noe and Jim Hale.

Door prize winners were, Doris Fleming, free pass; Bonnie Ligon and Colleen Keetone, McCoffee from McDonalds; W. D. Hopper, dish cloth; Candice Andrews, stress heart; Betty Oehme, heart jar opener; Mary Andrews, Jack Holongren and Bernadine Shively, pill boxes; Claude Oehme, Josephine Frazier, and Mildred Hunt, donuts; Bob Brumback, Marvin Blackburn, Helen Brodbeck, Joey Bussone, Pat Johnston, and Linda Johnston, doughnut holes.

Mark your calendar for the upcoming events. Our senior dance is every Thursday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dance begins at 7 pm. There is an admission fee.

Senior exercise class is every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.. Free Mt. Carmel health fair is on Tuesday September 1 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Kansas Oldtime Fiddlers, Pickers, & Singers is Saturday September 5 at 2 p.m.. Hospitality board meeting is Wednesday September 9 at 9:30 am.

The theme for the senior dance on Thursday, September 10 will be a 50's dance.
