On Saturday, March 21, residents of the Four-State area have the opportunity to be entertained, educated, and enlightened!

Multi-County 4-H Days will be taking place at the Meadowbrook Mall in Pittsburg, 4-H members from Cherokee, Crawford, Labette, Montgomery and Neosho counties will be sharing talks, demonstrations, vocal and instrumental music, talent and dance. The 4-H members will range in age from 7-18 and there will be both individual and group presentations.

Activities begin in Center Court at 9:30 a.m. with presentations starting at 10 a.m. in the north and south corridors. Events will continue until at least 2 p.m.

"Everyone is invited to stop by Meadowbrook Mall", said Phyllis Kriesel, Cherokee County Extension Agent, 4-H. "We are extremely grateful to Todd Ewing, Mall manager and his staff, who have provided this venue for our 4-H members since 1992. Come and see what our 4-H members have to share."

 Cherokee County 4-H participants and their approximate times to perform include:

9:30 a.m. - Prairie Ramblers 4-H Club group talent;

11:00 a.m. - Eric Underwood in junior talent, Jacob Wyckoff and Amber Helwig intermediate               talks;

11:15 a.m. - Lindsay Nida in senior dance;

11:30 a.m. - Kaylee Gum and Kindall Henning in junior demonstrations; Phillip Underwood and Skyler Henderson in intermediate demonstrations;

12:10 p.m. - Spring Valley Sparklers with their large group dance;

12:30 p.m. - Hannah Atkinson in senior instrumental solo; Eric Underwood and Joshua Wyckoff in junior demonstrations;

1:00 p.m.  - Ashlynn Mullere in intermediate instrumental solo;

1:30 p.m.  - Tyler Gum - Junior instrumental solo;

1:45 p.m.  - Skyler Henderson - intermediate vocal solo;

2:00 p.m.  - Lindsay Nida, senior vocal solo

2:40 p.m.  - Spring Valley Sparklers 4-H Club large group vocal
