Current blood inventories at Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) include at least three-day supply for most blood types. Although levels are adequate it takes around 275 donations per day to meet the needs of the thirty-seven area hospitals that use CBCO products. Your donation is needed to help save lives. CBCO will be holding drives at the following location next week: Columbus at the Columbus Community Building, located at 320 E. Maple. The drive will be held Monday, March 23, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

CBCO needs your help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks. Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and valid ID.

A single blood donation can save the lives of up to three people. For more information about this blood drive check out our website at www.cbco.org or call 1-800-280-5337.
