Jake LaTurner, is running for Kansas Senate and was raised in Galena and is a Pittsburg State University graduate, where he earned a degree in Political Science. Jake and his wife, Suzanne, live in Pittsburg with their two children, Ava and Joe. He was elected as the youngest-ever Chairman of the Cherokee County Republican Party, and served the past four years in the office of Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins. In this capacity, LaTurner worked with constituents to battle government bureaucracy and red tape by securing veterans’ rightful benefits and helping local businesses and communities grow. As a Senator, Jake will continue to fight for the interests of every citizen of Southeast Kansas. LaTurner says he is pro-life, an NRA member, committed to fiscal responsibility, completing Highway 69 and having competitive gas taxes with Mo. and Okla.
