A pre-trial hearing was continued at Ford County District Court on Friday for Anthony Raymond Becker, 27, of Bucklin.
Becker will be on trial for the alleged homicide of Christopher Boyd from an incident that occurred in May of 2015 when Boyd's body was found north of Bucklin.
It was later determined that Boyd had been murdered.
Becker is set for trial on Oct. 31 to where he has been charged with murder in the first degree and conspiracy to commit murder.
Co-defendants in the case, Chelsea Sosa, 24, and James Schmidt, 30, have made plea agreements.
Schmidt pled no contest to a count of conspiracy to commit aggravated battery which is a level 6 person felony.
The penalty for the conspiracy charge comes with a jail sentence between 17 and 46 months depending on Schmidt's criminal history.
He also pled guilty to obstructing apprehension or prosecution which is a level non-person felony, the penalty being between 7 and 23 months in jail depending on criminal history.
Sosa pled no contest to a charge of felony obstruction/apprehension of prosecution.
Both Schmidt and Sosa will be testifying in the Becker trial.
A reschedule date for the pre-trial hearing has not been determined at this time.
