Good Morning,

Thanks to everyone who helped in any way with the Freshman Basketball Tournament. Chair for the committee was Janet Graham and Janet Lindsey, but we had lots of members who came out and helped, plus school personal who gave up their evenings. Thanks to everyone and at the moment we think we cleared around $1,500.

Chamber annual dinner is this Wednesday, Jan. 25, and we have a full house. Those who have adopted a table are: Labette Bank, American Bank, Crossland Construction, Cherokee County News Advocate, Farmers Co-op, Commerce Bank, Mercy Hospital, Mercy Clinic, Coffeyville Community College, Medicalodge, Parcom Verizon, Columbus Telephone, Mike Carpino Ford, Team Threads, Empire District Electric, Columbus True Value, Classic Portraits, Columbus Public Library and Columbus Girl Scouts. You all will be able to get into the cafeteria on Wednesday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to decorate your table. We ask that you leave eight table favors, and be sure and put your name on the table somewhere. Guests will vote for their favorite and the winning company will receive Columbus gift certificates. Social is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. at the State Theater event center (south side of square). Attendees will receive one beverage ticket, additional there will be a fee.

The Chamber annual retreat was held last week, thanks to Class for letting us use their conference room. Large attendance with lots of new suggestion and ideas. Will get the 2017 program of Work put together for you all.
