Girl Scouts have their annual cookie sales going on, I know you can pick some up at 4-State Printing, if you can't wait to get your hands on some.
The board of directors at last weeks meeting decided to pick up the Miss Columbus program for this year. They did not want to see the program lost, as it is good for the young women that participate. A committee was formed and they will begin work now. It is a little late to be starting the program for 2017 so they are working hard. If you would like to help with the program contact the Chamber office. Several members have stepped forward to help.
The first 4th of July cook out will be Thursday, March 9, from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Maple UnCommon Hotel & Gallery. We will need help during those hours. Let the office know if you can help, Thanks.

Saturday, Feb. 18 Medicalodge will host a Prom Dress resale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you wish to put a dress in this activity, take to Medicalodge on Friday, $20 to place dress in this activity, you sit price.
Monday, Feb. 20 President Day, office closed
Tuesday, Feb. 21 Ribbon cutting for Mercy Mobile Unit, at 11 am at Jay Hatfield Chevrolet.
Thursday, Feb. 23 Columbus Day committee meets, noon
The CDF committee has advised that letters of invitation have gone to pilots, vendor applications have been sent out and that they are looking for sponsors for the hot air balloons, car show and children's festival. If you would like to help sponsor an event, let the office know.
