COLUMBUS - The Miss Columbus committee of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce has announced that they are accepting recipes from community residents and former Miss Columbus candidates for the 2017 Miss Columbus Cookbook.

Recipes will be accepted in any category – appetizers, main dishes, meats, vegatables, desserts, breakfast, etc. Recipes must be turned in to the Columbus Chamber of Commerce office, 320 E. Maple by March 31

Recipes will be printed in this year’s cookbook. The committee does ask that those submitting recipes, prepare the dish for the Miss Columbus Tasting Bee to be held June 16.

Many residents and former residents collect these books. We hear so often "what great recipes; so simple to fix; we have ingredients on the shelf” from the public. Columbus and Cherokee County has so many great cooks, take the time to submit one or two of your favorites

The cookbook will also feature the seven young ladies who will be participating in this year’s Miss Columbus program.
