PITTSBURG - Second place and a personal record at the 28th Annual Jock's Nitch/Gorilla Relays wasn't good enough for Southeast sophomore Sailor Jackson, even though she beat out more than 30 girls from throughout Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

"Sailor's mad because she got beat - I like that" said Southeast Track and Field Head Coach Nick Cheney, Jr.

The Gorilla Relays were held Friday, April 14, on the campus of Pittsburg State University.

Jackson thew for 128'7" in the Girls Javelin, again, good enough for 2nd place and a Personal Record. She also jumped 4'4" in the Girls High Jump

Sophomore Jett Gall jump 18'7" in the Boys Long Jump, 37'4.5" in the Boys Triple Jump, and a time of 2:27.00 in the Boys 800 Meter Run.

Sophomore Jessie Jenkins ran the Girls 1600 Meter Run in 6 minutes flat (6:00.00), and ran the Girls 3200 Meter Run in 12:40.63.
