Good Morning, it is so nice to see the sun shinning.

The golf tournament had to be cancelled yesterday because of all the rain. It will be rescheduled, but I don't have a date yet.

The retail committee would still like to do a Block Party (after hours) on the Square, but the April date was not working out; what about May 24? Would you be able to participate? Thanks to these businesses for stepping forward - KISS Tech, Parcom Verizon, Davis Realty and Mercy Hospital Columbus. This is a great way to promote your business, let everyone see what you have new, do some networking. Let us know if you want to participate - if we don't here from you, the committee will not proceed with plans.

It is now time for those working with tourism, have received notice that if we want listings in the 2018 Kansas Tour Guide, we must get them in to the state by the middle of May; this would include hotel/motes, B & B's, camp grounds, attractions, event centers. The listing would be $80, let the office know and we will take care of the listing and getting it to the state, like past years.

The All School Reunion/150th City Celebration committee met last week and set the date for the 2018 all school reunion to be June 22, 23 and breakfast on the 24. Activities will be planned, including opening of the capsule that was buried during the 100th city celebration. As soon as we get all of the information in print form, we will ask alumni classes to pick up and get the information out to their classmates. Activities for the 150th Celebration will have activities through out the year. The committee will have regular meetings and we encourage you to join in the planning.
