RIVERTON - Do you have kids that are excited about expanding their cooking skills? Join the Cherokee County K-State Research and Extension staff at Riverton Friends Church in Riverton, on June 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 3:30 - 5 p.m. for our 'Kids in the Kitchen' cooking series. Participants will enjoy expanding their cooking skills, preparing new recipes, and enjoying their final products! The series will provide participants with the opportunity to try new fruits and vegetables in a variety of ways to encourage healthier eating habits. Chefs of all ages are encouraged to attend! Children under the age of 5 are welcome with the assistance of a guardian.
