PITTSBURG - The Scottish Rite of Fort Scott is excited to announce it will conduct its 230th Reunion on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Armstrong Masonic Lodge, 3105 North Joplin Street, Pittsburg. The reunion begins at 8 a.m. This is an outstanding time for the Scottish Rite Masons as they bring in new members to the organization. When a person becomes a Mason, they can choose to achieve a greater degree of proficiency in the Craft and the Scottish Rite is the next step. And re-unions are ceremonies whereby men who are members in good standing in a Masonic Lodge can attend and attain the 32nd degree.
Also, during the reunion luncheon, those members who have reached 25 and 50 year memberships, plus the members with the longest memberships and the oldest member, will be honored for their loyalty and service to the fraternity. The Valley of Fort Scott issues an invitation to all Masons to join us as we welcome new members and show appreciate for the commitment of other members. If you would like to make reservations, need a petition or have any questions, please contact the Fort Scott Scottish Rite at 620-223-1330 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
