RIVERTON - Do you have a child expressing an interest in cooking? Want your kids to get excited about trying new foods? Join the Cherokee County K-State Research and Extension staff from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 11, at Riverton Friends Church in Riverton or Cherokee County K-State Research and Extension office from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 13, for Kids in the Kitchen.
Participants will enjoy expanding their cooking skills, preparing new recipes, and enjoying their final products! The class will provide participants with the opportunity to try new fruits and vegetables in a variety of ways to encourage healthier eating habits. Chefs of all ages are encouraged to attend! Children under the age of five are welcome with the assistance of a guardian.
