BAXTER SPRINGS - A special performance by the local 501B band will be held at the beautiful Ritz Theatre in downtown Baxter Springs this Saturday night. The 501B band with their original songs and covers from the 70’s to the current have been together for three years. The band has entertained in many of the venues in the local area.

“Home for the Holidays” is an appropriate name as the band has been on hiatus since July. Lead singer, keyboardist, and guitar player Tyler Jones is teaching vocal music in western Kansas, in Larned. Drummer Justin Jones and lead guitarist Trent Puckett are students at Pittsburg State University. A senior at Baxter Springs, Jade Weston is on the bass guitar and on back up vocals.

If you would like to listen to their original songs, they can be listened to on most apps.

The show will kick off at 7 p.m. with Blank Slate from Grove, Oklahoma, opening.
