RIVERTON - The Rams closed out the 2017 portion of their basketball schedule in the best way possible, with an epic win on their home court. Riverton toppled Neodesha 49-21, when the two teams faced off on Dec. 19.

The Rams functioned liked a well-oiled machine, dominating the game from early on. Riverton got off to an early lead and never relinquished control.

The win bumps the Ram's record to 4-1, and continues their streak of remaining unbeaten on their home court. Riverton has been putting up some incredible number so far this season, having scored a total of 258 points, while only allowing 156.

Prior to the boy's game, the Lady Rams felt the sting of the Lady Blue Streaks, losing 44-25. Riverton started off with a quick lead, but lost it by the end of the first quarter, and lagged behind for the remainder of the game. The ladies didn't give up and earned a fourth quarter scoring streak, even if it wasn't enough to close the gap.

Both teams return in 2018 by hosting the Baxter Springs Lions on Jan. 5.
