Our weather is certainly not going to let us get comfortable with its up and down temps...but at least, we are not on the East Coast.

Thanks to the city employees for taking the wreaths down for us of the poles, have returned most to the business sponsor. Thanks to all of our businesses who sponsored.

I think we may have a couple of tables available for adoption at the annual dinner if interested, let the office know. It is a time to remind those in attendance of your business. You should have received your invitation in today's mail. Reservations need to be into the office by Jan. 22 or 23, so we can give a count to the cater. We do expect a large crowd this year with it being at the State Theatre Event Center and with the induction to the Sports Hall of Fame, the Educator of the Year induction. It will be a nice evening out.

Freshman Basketball Tournament is Jan. 15, 16 and 19 at both CUHS gym and Central gym. I believe we still need someone to do books and clock at the high school and someone for clock at Central each evening. We also need help at Central for Monday evening. If you can help us out, let Janet Graham or the office know.

All Chambers must do fundraising to supplement their general budget or they have to have their membership fee, very large (a majority of Chamber charge any where from $250 to $550 per year or an amount for the number of employees), we use a flat rate, but many of our members have more than one membership. We do three fundraisers a year that we don't have to spend a lot of time, but give a nice boost to your general fund - basketball tournament, golf tournament and fair armbands. Your general fund is what keeps your office operating, just like any business.
