BASEHOR - The Basehor-Linwood Bobcat Classic is hands down one of the toughest tournaments in the state, but that didn't stop three Titan wrestlers from finishing in the top five in their respective weight classes.

Zach Porter took second place, losing 3-2 in the finals. Kale Smith and Ridge Smith both placed fifth. All three wrestlers are seniors at CUHS.

Out of the 36 competing high schools at the tournament, as a team, Columbus placed 28th. They finished with a team total of 37.5 points, coming in just ahead of Fort Scott (34).

Goddard won the tournament with a total of 221 points. Smithville came in second (206.5); with Platte County (206) in a close third.
