I've heard country folk in my hometown, Jordan, Kentucky, say the early bird gets the worm! Once in Puerto Rico a man told me his mother always said those who get up early, God will help them. He also shared with me mother loved living in the countryside, when you wake up early it's so alive and noisy she would say with a child's excitement.
