Earl Dean Andrews Jr. passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday February 22, 2018.

Dean was born on July 3, 1963 as the son of Fern Pauline Van Hoose and Earl Dean Andrews Sr. in Kansas City, Mo. Dean served his country for four years in the infantry both in the United States and overseas. He then spent 19 years in the Army National Guard as a Heavy Artillery Mechanic, Gun Inspector, and Multiple Launch Rocket System Repairer.

He is survived by his partner Debbie Thomasson, his oldest daughter Jackalyn Suzanne Henry and her husband Kyle James Henry, his youngest daughter Kimberly Renee Horn, his grandchildren Olivia Grace Horn, Jameson Andrew Henry, Scarlett Elise Henry, Layla May Henry, his younger sister Twyla Jean Hayes, and his dog Buddy. He was preceded in death by his mother Fern Pauline Van Hoose and his father Earl Dean Andrews Sr.

There will be a graveside service held on Saturday March 3, 2018 at 4 p.m. at the Baxter Springs Cemetery. A celebration of life ceremony will take place afterward at the Baxter Springs Old Community Center, 506 West 4th St, Baxter Springs, KS.
