We want to say Thank you to the staff at Mercy Maude Norton Hospital for doing the grilling for the 1st Fire-up for Fireworks and to Apple Market for all the buns. Thanks also to all who came out and supported the firework fund by purchasing lunch and giving donations. That fund is up to $2,800. The cookouts will be the second Thursday of the month through June.
The sesquicentennial celebration is coming along with the largest part taking place during the all school reunion, June 23 and 24, 2018. The celebration is to recognize the city of Columbus being platted 150 years ago this year. The committee is planning on several activities to celebrate. Attach is a flyer from chairman, Larry Hiatt, on the 150 Club.
We are also in need of Titan t-shirts, to do a raffle of Titan throws (perfect for football games) during the all school reunion. The t-shirts do not need to be new, the ones the kids have worn, outgrown works great - any color, size, whatever, we would like to have them. We would appreciate it if you would donate them and drop off at the Chamber office - please do not wait until June, as it takes awhile to put them together.
