The Cherokee County Livestock Improvement Association announces two scholarships available for graduating seniors and or anyone studying in college or a technical/trade school. The Cherokee County Livestock Improvement Association Scholarship is for anyone studying for a degree in an AG related field and the Sammy Ross Memorial Scholarship is for anyone who is a CCLIA member or one of their family members is a member. Both Scholarships are to be used for post high school study. Applications are available from KC Youngblood Ag Instructor at Columbus High School or at the County Extension Office. Applications are due by May 1, to KC Youngblood at the Columbus High School or to the County Extension Office.
