Thanks to Representative Houser and Senator Hildebrand for taking time out of their schedule for the Legislative breakfast Monday morning. There was a nice turnout. Thanks to Maple UnCommon for breakfast.

We have placed the Titan t-shirt throw for display at Commerce Bank for awhile, then will move to another business. It will be given during the all school reunion. Would like to do a couple of others, but need more Titan t-shirts, so if you have some not in use and would like to get rid of them, we will take them off your hands. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5, they are available now at Commerce Bank.

Thanks to everyone who came out last week and helped support the fireworks for the 4th of July. We have now up to $4,554 and there will be cookouts on May 10 and June 14. We need $10,000 for the fireworks, you can also leave a donation with the Chamber of place in the Columbus Community Foundation, marked fireworks, at Commerce Bank.

Thanks to Becky McDaniel, Realpro, for taking on the Car Show for Columbus Day. Tessa Newberry will also be helping. Still working on inflatables and we still need someone to take on the Children's Festival. Booked a bluegrass band out of Arkansas to perform on the SW corner of the square during the day. Mike Carpino Ford is working on a concert for Saturday evening.

Plan on attending the 3rd Thursday Coffee this Thursday morning from 8 to 9 a.m. at Mike Carpino Ford. There will be a drawing for a $25 Columbus Gift Certificate, must be present to receive, if not claimed, there will be an additional $25 added at the next morning coffee.

Have you registered for the Chamber Golf Tournament? It is at 10 a.m. this Sunday, April 22. Miss Columbus girls will be grilling hot dogs for participants. Three person teams, $100. The traveling trophy will be available to the winner for placement in their business for the year. Register with Jamie or Mike at Mike Carpino Ford.

Miss Columbus committee will be hosting a Paddle Party this Thursday at the Girl Scout House, beginning 6:30 p.m. There will be some nice gifts, plus a silent auction, with lots of fun.
