This week will be a busy one, I expect to be in and out all the time, so you if you are planning on dropping by, you might want to call and be sure I am in. On Friday, I will be at the State Theatre Event Center all day, so if you need something you will have to come by there.
Train tickets are going fast, we have sold over 1/2 already, if you are wanting to take yourself or your grand kids, don't wait until Saturday, as I am guessing there will not be any left. Train leaves at 10 a.m. from the Kansas crossing, board between Kansas and Penn, will take about an hour to Oswego and back. 1956 vintage coaches, it is air condition.
The sesquicentennial coins are also selling. These coins are really a nice keepsake for the community. They are $7.50 each. Commemorative books will be available shortly.
This week is the 3rd Thursday Coffee at Mercy Hospital Columbus, Angie advised to use the Penn. St. entrance. They have their new MRI department up and running, so be sure and come out and check that out. Don't forget to register for the $25 Columbus gift certificate to be give away, sometime during the 8 to 9 a.m. hour.
If you want something fun over the week end, grab a copy of the Scavenger Hunt and see what interesting things there was/is in Columbus. Clues are on several business windows. Answers will be advised on Saturday evening and prize give to the most correct answers.
The Titan throws will be on display at the All School Reunion and winner will be drawn on Saturday evening.
We are still in need of someone to do the Children's Corner during the Columbus Day Festival. Activities for kids, games, hands on activities, storytelling, what ever you would like.

Friday, June 22 All School Reunion, registration begins at noon until 5 p.m. and then 7 p.m.; 150 Club dinner at 6 p.m.
Saturday, June 23 All School Reunion, registration from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Time capsule opening at 6 p.m. followed by cake in courtyard at State Theatre Event Center.
