The Agriculture committee is planning on "Feeding the Farmers" during corn harvest, which at the moment, Farmers Co-op is thinking in the next week or so. They will be grilling at the south elevator on Country Rd., will not know the date until the trucks start rolling in. This is a last minute thing.

The Columbus Day committee has added one more balloon for the Balloon Regatta. It is not a new pilot, he has been coming for several years, but he didn't think he would be able to make it this year, but he just found out that he could. We do need a sponsor for a balloon, I checked with KKOW (whose has been asking for years to sponsor a balloon) but they don't want it. So if you are interested, give the office a call. We need crew. We are also in need of a group or organization to handle the Children's Corner during the festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Don't forget to nominate someone for the 2018 Chris Award. No formal application, just a letter stating why the person should be consider. Need by Sept. 10. Mail or email to Chamber office.
