Murder Mystery event planned at Har-Ber Village

GROVE, Okla. - A murder mystery dinner event, “Murder Comes A Courtin” will be held Sept. 13 and 14, at Har-Ber Village in Grove, Oklahoma.

According to the event’s mystery chairman, Patti Beth Anderson, Har-Ber Village is the location, with proceeds going to the Village in support of its 50th Anniversary celebration.

More than 65 community “actors” will help attendees solve the mystery, according to Anderson.

“We are really excited that we are going to have this much participation from the community,” she said. “We have perfect casts for some of the most important roles in this mystery,” she said.

From bankers and physicians to store owners and small business owners attendees will be sure to recognize the significance of each cast member as they are guided through the village to solve the mystery. Afterward they will be treated to dinner catered by Timbered-Inn.

“Entertainment, dinner, saloon girls, white lightnin’ and murder, for a $40 donation, what more could you ask for?" she said.
