SCAMMON - A brief service interruption has been scheduled for Scammon, Weir and West Mineral, Kansas, on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 16, beginning at 3 a.m. and lasting approximately two hours. Customers should be aware these times are approximations and the outage could be postponed or extended due to weather or equipment issues.
Approximately 1,200 customers near the Scammon area will be affected by the service interruption. Liberty Utilities said in a press release that this scheduled outage is necessary to allow crews to safely upgrade substation equipment as part of an ongoing initiative to strengthen the delivery system and enhance reliability for customers.
