Mark your calendar for Sept. 20, if you have an interest on what is going on in the Agriculture industry. The agriculture committee of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an Ag EXPO on that day at the 4-H building and surrounding area. This is a free event for the public and they are encouraged to attend. Invitations have gone out to vendors from the 2017 Ag EXPO and the KSU Extension Service invited vendors from the past week end Farm Show to participate.

The Fall date was chosen, as this should bring a small break from the fields. During the day there will be workshops available. One of the workshops will be related to tick bites and and how it makes some persons allergic to red meats this should be of great interest to everyone.

The workshops will be of interest to both the farmers, ranchers and to the public. If you sell to the farming/ranch community we encourage you to book space for this EXPO. Contact the Columbus Chamber of Commerce office for additional information.
