A rural Cherokee County woman was arrested last week on aggravated assault charges according to Cherokee County Sheriff David Groves.
Groves said on April 6 deputies responded to a 911 call at the home of David and Anita Pillar, 5250 SE 40th in rural Cherokee County.
Groves said during the course of the investigation deputies discovered that during the course of an alleged physical altercation with her husband, Pillar, 55, allegedly pulled a handgun on David Pillar and allegedly threatened a juvenile with a broom handle.
Groves said Pillar was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault and one count of battery.
She was released from the Cherokee County Jail after not seeing a judge within 48 hours of her arrest.
