At 7:47 a.m. Monday the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department reported the recent arrest of ten individuals.

James Gatlin, 37, of Galena was arrested by Cherokee County sheriff’s officers on a bond revocation for driving while suspended. He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail.

Michael Morland, 20, of Mechanicville, N. Y. was arrested by Kansas Highway Patrol officers on an outstanding Bell County, Texas warrant. He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail.

Matthew Roberson, 22, of Columbus was arrested Thursday by Cherokee County sheriff’s officers for being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail.

Robert Jackson, 29, of Galena was arrested Thursday by Galena city police officers on an outstanding Galena municipal warrant. He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail.

Brian Novak, 40, was arrested Thursday by Baxter Springs city police officers on an outstanding Greenwood County, Kansas warrant. He has been sent to Greenwood County.

Clifford Ping, 37, of Scammon was arrested Wednesday by Cherokee County sheriff’s officers for battery. He was released after 48 hours when not seen by a judge.

James Gatlin, 37, of Galena was arrested Wednesday by Cherokee County sheriff’s officers for driving while suspended.

He posted bond and was released.

Taylor Rich, 23, of Weir was arrested Tuesday by Weir city police officers on an outstanding Crawford County, Kansas warrant.

He has been sent to Crawford County.

Jacob Rogers, 25, address unavailable, was arrested Monday, December 28 by Galena city police officers on an outstanding Shawnee County, Kansas warrant. He has been sent to Shawnee County.

Robert Eastman, 26, of Weir, was arrested Monday, December 28 by Weir city police officers for attempting to flee and elude offciers and no drivers license.

He was released after 48 hours when not seen by a judge.
