A local woman missing since Thursday is being sought by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department investigators.

Amy M. Smith, 32, was last seen about 5:30 a.m. Thursday. Sheriff’s Detective Doug Wydick said no foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

When she didn’t show up for work, family members reported her missing.

Smith is described as five feet four inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds and has brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair, according to a press release from the department.

She is believed to be driving a black 1998 four-door Toyota Corolla with Kansas license number 735-AXI with a dent on the trunk.

The Sheriff’s Department is requesting anyone with information about her location call the department at (620) 429-3992.
