At 6:20 a.m. Thursday the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department reported the recent arrest of eight individuals.

Ted Correll, 58, of Columbus was arrested Wednesday by Cherokee County sheriff’s officers for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He posted bond and was released.

James Stover, 25, of Galena was arrested Wednesday by Galena city police officers on an outstanding Baxter Springs municipal warrant. He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail.

Tracy Pinckney, 20, of Pittsburg was arrested Wednesday by Cherokee County sheriff’s officers for obstruction of the legal process and outstanding warrants from Andover, Kansas and Crawford County, Kansas.

John Spears, 58, of Columbus was arrested Tuesday by Columbus city police officers on an outstanding Cherokee County warrant. He was released after 48 hours after not being seen by a judge.

John Dunsworth, 24, of Galena was arrested Tuesday by Cherokee County sheriff’s officers on an outstanding Labette County warrant. He has been transferred to Labette County.

Dallas Thomas, 51, of Reeds Springs, Mo. was arrested Tuesday by Kansas Highway Patrol officers on an outstanding Leavenworth County, Kansas warrant. He posted bond and was released.

Sandra Zwahlen, 39, of Columbus was arrested Tuesday by Columbus city police officers for driving while suspended. She posted bond and was released.

Avery Davis Jr., 31, of Springfield, Mo. was arrested Tuesday by Cherokee County sheriff’s officers for driving while suspended, possession of a certain depressant, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal tag, and no proof of insurance. He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail.
