* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.

* THIS HEAVY RAINFALL ON ALREADY SATURATED GROUND COULD RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING ESPECIALLY ON SMALL STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS. THE RISK OF FLOODING WILL BE GREATEST WHERE STORMS TRAIN OVER THE SAME AREAS... PARTICULARLY THOSE AREAS THAT RECEIVED HEAVY RAINFALL EARLY SUNDAY.

THOSE CAMPING OR FLOATING ON AREA STREAMS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER LEVELS.
