Do you walk on stilts, ride a unicycle, or juggle, the Chamber of Commerce Merle Evans Circus Day Committee is looking for folks in the community with these and other talents who would be willing to participate in the Circus Day Program at the park.

The Merle Evans Circus Day Committee is putting together a program, which could feature the talents of local people before the showing of the “Greatest Show on Earth” movie.

With popcorn, cotton candy, peanuts and other circus treats the event is expected to be a fun evening as the community pays homage to Merle Evans.

Evans for more then 50 years led the orchestra of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus as it toured the nation.

When the circus arrived in town it was somewhat like a holiday with the tent being erected by the elephants and the other animals being fed.

This is the atmosphere the committee is hoping to have during the evening.
