Brandon Lee Rhoe, 47, of rural Columbus passed away Sunday, July 4, 2004 at his home.

He was born November 6, 1956 in El Dorado, Kan., the son of Floyd and LeNeva Mishler Rhoe. He had lived in this area since 1984.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Dorothy Mishler; grandparents, C.E. and Carrie Rhoe; three uncles, Melvin and H.D. Mishler, Dale Rhoe and one aunt, Dorothy Rhoe Reed.

Survivors include his parents, Floyd and Toots Rhoe of rural Columbus; brother, Monte Stephen Rhoe and wife Nancy of Riverside, Calif.; a sister, Vickie Lynn Guthrie and husband Tony of Burleson, Texas; a nephew, Cody Guthrie; three nieces, Amber Rhoe, Lacie Rhoe Morales and Kayla Guthrie; two great nieces, Savannah Guthrie, Haile Rhoe Carola; one great nephew, Luc Morales; also survived by his beloved dog Peppie Rhoe and loved by all.

Brandon loved playing pool and softball. He also was a collector of many things and many friends.

Funeral services were be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2004 at the Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel of Baxter Springs. Burial were in the Park Cemetery in Columbus.

Pall bearers were Jamie Grizzle, Rick Martin, Mike Parsons, Joe Niggemann, Chad Armstrong, Chad Hallam. Honorary, Kevin Hale, Ed Roark, and Wade Starchman.
