Carol Ann Donaldson, 70 of Scammon, Kan. died at 12:40 a.m., Tuesday March 6, 2012 at her home following a long illness.

She was born August 9, 1941 in Neodesha, Kan. the daughter of Cletus and Rosalee (Bohannon) Amos.

On March 21, 1963 she was united in marriage to George Donaldson in Miami, Okla., he survives her of the home.

Carol was a homemaker and a long time area resident.

She was a faithful donor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Debra Johnson and Pam Conkling; a son, Don Donaldson; a grandson, Brett Bennett; two granddaughters, Donna & Deneace Donaldson and two brothers, Ricky & James Amos.

Additional survivors include two sons, David Donaldson of Girard, Dusty Donaldson of Weir and Warren Earling of Scammon; a daughter, Darlene Bennett of Pittsburg; three brothers, Colonel Amos, Ben Amos and Ron Amos; three sisters, Goldie Elam, Cle Riordan and Beth Moore; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Weir with Aaron Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Oswego City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services from 9 a.m. until service time.
