Jimmy D. Spaulding of Baxter Springs, Kan., age 70, passed away at Lowell, Kan. on September 12, 2011. The son of Fred Spaulding and Alice (Smith) Spaulding, he was born on August 12, 1941 in Vinita, Okla.

A former B.F. Goodrich Foreman, heating and air technician, a calf roper, with his horse chief, an avid hunter and farmer.

He was a member of the Church of Christ in Welch, Okla. A graduate of the class of 1959 at Blue Jacket High School in Bluejacket, Okla.

He is survived by his wife, Earleene; his children, Ginger Littlefield (Scott), Vinita, Okla. Kelli Cooper (Jeff). Claremore, Okla. Bekki Drelow (Jeff), North Branch, Minn., Jeannie Fairfield (Tony) St. George, S.C., Danny Spaulding (Melissa), Alan Qualls, Ryan Qualls (Charity), Rob Qualls (Kyla) of Baxter Springs, Kan.; 24 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Carol Grumbiein (Ed) Claremore, Okla.; and nephew Keith (Honey Sue); five uncles and one aunt; mother-in-law, Estella Staton; sisters-in-law Alice Gaines (David), Mary Pliler (Joe) and Sue Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The body was taken for cremation under the care of Abbotts Funeral Home, Baxter Springs, Kan.
