Brenda Kay Fogler, 50, of Columbus, Kan. passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Brenda was born November 16, 1960 in Columbus, Kan., she was the daughter of Robert D. and Rose Ellen “Walker” Fogler.

She graduated from Columbus Unified High School and Southeast Area Vo-Tech School in 1978.She was a life-long employee of Ace Forms, Incorporated for 33 years.

She enjoyed attending Sunday school with her daughter at the First Baptist Church. She was an avid KU and Kansas City Chiefs fan.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Vale Walker and paternal grandparents Leo and Gertie Fogler.

She was a loving mother to her son Blake Andrew Allen, daughter Chelsie Rose Fogler and Blake’s girlfriend Jessica Walker, who survive.

Additional survivors include her parents; sister, Deanna Ferraro and husband Michael of Columbus; two brothers, Bill Fogler and wife Patty of Humansville, Mo. and David Fogler and wife Kathy of Grove, Okla.; several nieces and nephews whom she adored, including Jason Ferraro and fiance’ Julie Reynolds, Jenna Ferraro, Jeni Root and Mike Oldenburg, Kira Owens, Brent and Gosia Chaney, Tyler Chaney, Miranda Chaney, Danielle, Hayden and Hunter Fogler and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Murdock Funeral Home, Columbus, Kan.
