Nadine F. Grove, 93, a resident of the Parsons Presbyterian Manor, died there at 12:15 a.m., Thursday, October 18, 2012.
She was born August 30, 1919 at Clinton, Mo. to J. S. and Essie (Thomas) Francis. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1937.
She worked at various retail stores and insurance offices and from 1957 to 1962 she was employed in the office of the County Treasurer at Miami, Okla.
In 1940 she was married to Gene Rolstin and he preceded her in death in 1956. She married Lloyd Earl Grove on January 12, 1962 at Grove, Okla. Together they farmed for many years in Cherokee County (rural Columbus). Mr. Grove died on April 12, 1996. After his death Mrs. Grove moved from their farm to a duplex at the Presbyterian Manor.
She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George Francis and a granddaughter, Julie Grove.
Survivors include two sons, James Grove and his wife Beverlym, Moore, Okla., Neil Grove and his wife Rita, Parsons, Kan.; grandchildren, Kelly Malle and her husband Larry, Cherokee; Lori Stovall and her husband Jesse, Altus, Okla., Lisa Bryen and her husband Gary, Moore, Okla., Tim Grove and his wife Cheryl, Euless, Texas; great-grandchildren, Luke, Jaren and Lyndee Stovall, Jessica Pettigrew and her husband Joshua, Ashley and Cory Bryen, Haley, Jamie and Brandon Malle, Madelyn, Cecily and Hannah Grove; great-great-granddaughter, Julie Pettigrew.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in the Borland Cemetery in Cherokee County.
