The one special trait a lot of people will remember her for is being that special friend. Someone you could always go to for a shoulder to cry on or just to sit and have a cup of coffee with.

Most of us will remember her for her famous BBQ chicken, if you ever left her house hungry it was your own fault because she always made sure everyone was fed. Naomi's favorite holiday was Christmas. She wasn't a gift taken from us, she was a gift given to us.

Naomi was employed at King Louie as a seamstress for over 30 years and a member of the VFW Post #408 where she was proud to be a member and appreciated everyone that served our great country.

Services and visitation were held at: Derfelt Funeral Home, 328 E. 12th Street, Baxter Springs, Kan. Visitation was held Thursday evening, Aug. 4th from 8 to 9 p.m. Services were Friday morning, August 5th at 10:30 a.m. with graveside services to follow at Lowell Cemetery.
