Last Tuesday night the Titan wrestling team wrestled against two very tough teams from Missouri. Seneca is ranked No. 1 in Class 1 in Missouri and Neosho is also ranked No. 1 in class 3 in Missouri. We started the night wrestling against Neosho and we lost the dual 57 to 16. In the second dual we wrestled Seneca and ended up losing that dual 42 to 30.

Neosho, Mo. Dual

In this dual we struggled and ended up losing the dual by a score of 57 to 16. The only wrestlers to win matches in the Neosho dual was Tank Burns who pinned George Mckinney in 4:38 of the third period, Nathan Morris who major decisioned Matt Millard by a score of 15 to 4, and B.T. O’Hara who pinned Payne Hatter in the second period. This was a good win for B.T. as he defeated the No. 3 ranked ranked wrestler in class 3 in Missouri.

Seneca, Mo. Dual

In the second dual we had several wrestlers win matches and we did however end up losing the dual by a score of 42 to 30.

At 130 Kyle Johnson pinned Nathan Fortner in :43 seconds of the first period. This was a good win for Kyle as Fortner was the No. 3 ranked wrestler in class 1 in Missouri.

B.T. O’Hara defeated Dillon Webb 5 to 3 at 140.

This was another good win for B.T. as he defeated the No.  3 ranked wrestler in class 1 in Missouri. At 152, Damion Tinnin decisioned Josh Butler 7 to 3. At 189, Nathan Morris pinned Price Nutting in :50 seconds of the first period.

At 215, David Lloyd pinned Trent Van Wagner at 5:59 seconds of the third period. At Heavyweight, Tank Burns Pinned Derrick Hopper in 4:14 seconds of the third period. Tank was the only Titan wrestler to have two pins on the night, and Nathan Morris and B.T. O’Hara also had a good night in getting two wins in the duals.
