Mr. and Mrs. Gary Saporito of Ft. Worth, Texas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Ashley, to David Anthony Routon. She is the daughter of the late Shirley Jane Bullion of Harrison, Ark.
David is the son of Ree Gandy Routon and Steve Routon, both of Forrest City, Ark. The couple plan to wed in December.
Kristen is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Saporito of Weir, Kan.
The bride elect is a graduate of Harrison High School in 2003. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2007 with a bachelor of arts in social work. She received a masters of social work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2009. Presently, she is employed at Pinnacle Point in Conway.
Mr. Routon is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Gandy, Jr., of Forrest City and Mrs. William Routon and the late Mr. Routon of Hope, Ark.
He graduated from Wynne High School in 2003 and earned a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 2007. He received a masters of public administration from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 2009. Mr. Routon is associated with Hewlett Packard.
Miss Saporito and Mr. Routon will be united in marriage on Saturday, December 19, at Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista. The ceremony, at two in the afternoon, will be followed by a reception at the Fayetteville Country Club.
