This is the last call, if you want to be listed in the 2018 visitor guide and calendar of events brochure. I need to know today, it is going to the printer in the morning. Have not heard from several of you that have listed in past years and we don't like to assume - it gets us in trouble. This is the brochure that goes out to all inquiries and is handed out - it shows where overnight accommodations, where to eat, where to shop, medical, etc., with your location shown on the map. Tell me if you want listed.
We still have a few tables available for adoption for the Annual Dinner. This is your time to advertise your business, no fee (we do ask that you leave 10 table favors). Theme for the dinner "Through the Decades" in celebration of the city's 150th anniversary. The event will be held at the State Theatre Event Center with social at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. A large crowd is expected. Let the office know if you want to decorate a table - you do not sit at the table you sponsored.
We have been working with Sheriff Groves all year, setting up a workshop on cyber security. The sheriff now has a program in place for us and we will be doing that workshop in February, during a lunch hour. Will advise the date shortly, so you can mark your calendar. This is something all businesses should plan on attending.
USD 493 is out for the Christmas break.
Nothing on the calendar for the next couple of weeks, so I will have time to do some catch up on some things in the office.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, and I want to say Thank you to each of you for support and help through the year.
