Good Morning,

21 have registered for the Cyber security/counterfeit workshop tomorrow, noon at the community building. Light lunch will be served.

Miss Columbus committee will be meeting with the young ladies and their parents tomorrow evening, 6 p.m. in the Chamber office. 10 have registered to participate in the Miss Columbus program for the year.

Mark your calendar for for future dates: Legislative breakfast, Monday, April 16, 7:30 a.m. at Maple UnCommon Guest House, and Sunday, April 15 is Chamber Golf Tournament, register with Jamie at Mike Carpino Ford.

The Columbus Day committee has sent out applications for vendor space and have received several back. If you are interested in vendor space, especially food vendor, remember we only take 13 vendors and limit to what you sell so everyone does not sell the same thing. So don't wait until the last minute and expect to get space. Book it now.

CDF is also in need of sponsors for balloons, car show and children's festival. If interested, contact the office. They have also booked Marty Tipton (The Oklahoma Kid) for some old fashioned entertainment. Marty is a humorist and does trick roping (related to Will Rogers) he will bring lots of ropes and will do a session with the kids.

Easter Egg Hunt committee has met and has things under control for that kids event on March 31 at the city park, if rain, will be in the livestock barns. Thanks to Davis Real Estate, Apple Market, Mid West Color Graphics, The Donut Shop and Parks & Recreation for stepping forward. If you would like to sponsor a bike, usually around $75 or less, let us know. Four age divisions: Walking toddlers to 24 months; 2 to 4 yrs; 5 to 7 yrs and 8 to 10 years. Start time is at 10 a.m. and age groups will be staggered.
