We want to Welcome our newest member - Folder Express. They work along side of Calibrated Forms, but do all kinds of folders - sizes, colors, designs. They really put out some amazing folders for businesses all over the country. If you didn't make the tour last month, drop in and they will be more than happy to show you around.

This is the last week to purchase your carnival ride armband in advance and save a little money. They will sell until next Monday, July 23 around noon. As in the past, they are $20 per person, per night from 6 to 11 p.m. Available from American Bank (Columbus, Baxter, and Galena), City Hall, Commerce Bank, Labette Bank, Farm Bureau Insurance and the Chamber office. We have a limited number and they have been selling - Do not wait until Monday or you may be disappointed. They will be higher on the fair grounds during fair week.
Is your calendar marked for the 3rd Thursday Coffee, this Thursday, July 19, at Medicalodge, 101 Lee from 8 to 9 a.m. The drawing for the $25 Columbus Gift Certificate will be sometime during the hour. Drop by and have coffee and donuts before you start your workday, catch up on what is going on with your fellow businessmen/women.
Have you signed up your business for the Ag EXPO on Sept. 20, at the 4-H building, the agriculture committee is hosting. Space is available for both inside and outside, three workshops will be available for both those in agriculture and the public. If your business works some way with the agriculture industry, you just might want to be a vendor.
The KSU Extension Service will also be handing out flyers of information on the Ag EXPO during the Farm Show this week end.

The Columbus Day committee will begin accepting nominations for the 2018 Chris Award recipient in August. No formal application, just send a letter as to why, and what the person has done to promote Columbus. They will also begin accepting children between the ages of three and five for the Little Mr. & Miss Columbus to be crowned during the Miss Columbus pageant.
