The Seventh Grade swept two wins over Iola in SEK Junior High action Monday.

In the Seventh A game the Titans edged Iola 34-30 and in the B game the Titans took a 27-15 win.

The A game was close through the entire contest with Columbus trailing through the first half  before putting together a big third quarter and holding on to win.

At the half Iola led 19-14 but by the end of the third quarter the Titans had a 26-23 lead.

Aaron Bigando led the Titans in scoring with 15 points. He pulled down seven rebounds and had five steals.

Justin Graham led Columbus with eight rebounds scoring two points and had a pair of steals.

Cameron Brown scored seven points had three rebounds and three steals for the Titans.

Ty Spear scored six points and had a pair of rebounds, and Dawson Soper scored four points and pulled down three rebounds and had three steals.

Blake Martin, Ben Jones and Jusin Foust each had two rebounds. Martin also had a steal.

The Seventh A team is now 4-1 following the Iola win.

In the Seventh B action the Titans took an early lead of 6-2 in the first quarter stretched it  to 14-9 by halftime.

A big 8-0 run in the fourth quaarter cinched the win for the Titans.

Justin Foust led the scoring with 10 point, Zac Kresyman, Ben Jones and Ryan Thomas each scored four points. Ty Spear scored three and Chase Bolin scored two points.
