The Columbus Junior Wrestling team took seven first places at the Parsons Invitational Saturday, Jan. 17.
In the six and under age group:
At 43 pounds Gabriel Parker finished first.
At 43 pounds Landon Proffitt finished first.
At 46 pounds Trenton Moyer finished third
At 46 pounds Traceton Redlon finished second.
At 49 pounds Sean Arney finished fourth
At 61 pounds Christian Engroff finished second.
At 76 pounds Alec Young finished second.
In the Eight and under age bracket:
At 64 pounds Zach Porter finished first
At 80 pounds Tyler Stice finished third.
In the Ten and under age group:
At 67 pounds Ryder Mathes finished fourth
At 76 pounds Payton Hale finished first
At 79 pounds Cordell Bass finished second.
At 100 pounds William Chrysler finished second.
At 130 pounds Keenan Stanley finished fourth.
In the 12 and under age class:
At 76 pounds Emily Newberry finished first.
At 92 pounds Diggs Overman finished third.
At 100 pounds Mason Bass finished second.
At 105 pounds Ryan Kinyon finished first.
At 110 Garrett Brittain finished fourth.
At 115 Zane Roark finished second.
In the 14 and under age group:
At 90 pounds Cody Freeman finished fourth.
At 95 pounds Ryan Thomas finished third
At 165 pounds Gavin Houser finished first.
Zane Roark took a first place in the 12 and under age class at 115 pounds in the second annual Jaguar Classic Sunday, Jan. 18.
Other Columbus wrestlers
Alexander Minor competed in the six and under division at a weight of 45 pounds for a third place finish.
Cole Minor also in the six and under at 45 pounds wrestled to a third place finish.
Jason Haraughty in the six and under also wrestled to a four place.
Jaydon Minor in the eight and under division did not place.
The junior wrestlers will compete Saturday on their home floor.
